Sealladh will use its unique setting and facilities at  Fàs to provide vocational training in the media from within the Gaelic community.  Over the next two years Sealladh will be delivering several training projects on behalf of MG ALBA.  Details of current projects can be found below.

Rèidio Òigridh                                                                                                                                               

 

This project aims to give young Gaelic speakers an opportunity to develop radio production/presenting skills.  Those involved will develop their own skills in order to deliver special programs documenting important Gaelic events.  This year will see the young team at the royal National MOD in Falkirk.  The finished programs will be offered to community radio stations to broadcast as well as being available on a specially created website. more

Sgrìobhadh Cruthachail                                                                                                                               


This project will be delivered in two parts;

To begin with regular workshops will be set up for teenagers in the Western isles to encourage and develop their creative skills.

Running alongside these workshops will be the creation of a social networking site which will allow Gaelic speaking youths to communicate and voice opinions about gaelic media. This site will have an attached online mini-drama series which can be accessed and viewed anytime. more
Sgeulachdan Coimhearsnachdan                                                                                                              

Through this unique project, several individuals from a range of Gaelic speaking communities will be given the opportunity to attend  camera/sound/editing master classes which will equip them with the necessary skills to document stories that are important to them and their respective communities.  Resulting material will be shown in thenamed communities and via the internet. more
